What Does My Dream life Look Like?

What does the life I dream of look like? In short I think my dream life would include some of the following:

1. Having the freedom of choice over what I decide to do without being constrained by money.
2. Being healthy, but also not being anal about being healthy. Being able to appreciate the little sins in life.
3. Being in a mutually stimulating and rewarding relationship (Maybe one day!!)
4. Having a family again (perhaps) one day and seeing my children grow up each day.
5. Always being able to appreciate life for what it is and what it provides regardless of what it throws at me. Never losing my motivation.

The main thing that prevents me from having my dream life is probably time! I think this question is probably a little unfair however. I mean, a lot of the things I mention above I fully anticipate happening one day, eventually. Some things just can’t be rushed. It would be very easy to start thinking about the future too much and lose track of one of the very things that life coaching teaches us, which is live for the moment and try to make the most of the now.

I’ve just realised that everything I wrote about my dream life was focused on the future. I guess it’s not surprising therefore that time is the main factor in preventing my dreams from materialising.

If I think about the now, I guess one of the main things that would make my life better would be to be happier more of the time. All too often I seem to get enthused about something or feel highly motivated or feel content about life only to have those feeling diminished or dumbed down for no apparent reason. I think having some of the things I talk about in the future would help with this but I don’t truly believe they would resolve my fundamental day to day feelings about life! Hmmmm, I’m working on this one!!!
