I would consider myself a personable and sociable kind of person. This will probably mould the types of relationships I have with other people. It does now and I see no reason why this would change in the future. I think I am inquisitive by nature and I am happy to converse with anybody really. I try not to be judgemental (I should probably work on this a bit more if I’m honest!) and I believe everyone has a voice that deserves to be heard. That is not to say that quite quickly after hearing that voice I might be completely turned off and decide not to listen again. I think I am a good listener and I can probably connect with people more easily on an emotional level but I am guilty of not being very tolerant of stupidity. (I hope that doesn’t sound arrogant!)

I see a future where I continue to have a sound group of friends, those that I can count on 100% and will be there always and those friends who might just come and go as life goes by. I believe having good friends is very important. Good friends are there for mutual support in all kinds of ways. If it weren’t for my good friends (and family) I’m not sure what kind of person I would be! I might end up going mad! Casual friends are also important but in other ways. Often, the people you meet casually through life are the ones that make the most impact.

I see a future where I have a strong relationship with my future partner. I know most people will say that but I really mean it in a deep kind of way. Some people don’t need or want to sound of to others or talk about their emotions or discuss things in detail. I most defiantly do. I would love to be able to have the type of connection with my future partner that puts me on a level with them in all kinds of ways both emotionally and intellectually. I’m not saying my ideal relationship would be with someone smart. I think being in touch with ones emotions and being able to articulate / communicate thoughts and feelings is more important than anything else.

I am already beginning to learn the benefits that life coaching can have on relationships or general interaction with others. Being a more confident person, someone who looks and feels good will inevitably have an impact on how others see you and therefore interact with you. The way we feel and act can have a powerful influence on how we interact with others. I certainly see a future where I learn much more about this and am able to use my interpersonal skills to help both myself and others.
